Why I Do What I Do

Like many in the holistic health space, I was drawn to this field by my own frustration in finding solutions to my health challenges and those of my family members through our medical system.

I spent a large part of my 20’s traveling around the world and was exposed to many different cultures who treated health issues with a different view. I discovered traditional healers were using a mind and body approach to putting the body into balance versus focusing on the symptoms and suppressing those warning signals. Using that approach, I was able to work on my overactive thyroid imbalance and improve my mood, health, and energy levels instead of taking lifelong prescriptions.

Today, there are many sources of information dedicated to solutions. It can be overwhelming to distill the differing opinions on root causes and how to balance the body. That’s because we’re all unique and one size fits all solutions can fall short.

Along with my certification as an Integrative Health Practitioner, I love sharing what I have learned over the years to help others help themselves. I act as a detective, confidant, support and resource for people who are ready to take control of their health, and do the work needed to feel their best. I work with people to correct their imbalances using a combination of diet, exercise, traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine therapies, supplements and functional medicine testing. I believe we all have the power to feel great and live healthier lives.
